ABOUT JENESSA…

Jenessa has been actively involved in sports, nutrition, and leadership since she was young. This fueled her to become a Personal Trainer in 2016. Jenessa has trained various athletes involved in baseball, golf, soccer, tennis, basketball, football, track, gymnastics, and swimming; among people of all ages and walks of life from professional athletes to beginners. Jenessa is a Certified Sports Performance and Athlete Development Coach through DBC Fitness, as well as a Functional Strength and Conditioning Coach. Through National Academy of Sports Medicine, she is Sports Nutrition Certified and a Certified Personal Trainer. Jenessa utilized the opportunity to gain experience from DBC fitness coaches, who train professional athletes including, but not limited to: LeBron James, D Wade, and Donovan Mitchell. She has mastered the ability to perform the DBC 55 Orthopedic Assessment. This propelled her to acquire the skill set to gather the proper information in prescribing corrective stretches and develop a training program that sets in motion her client’s innate ability to progress to the next level.  She is also trained in KI-Hara, which is Resistance Stretching. It is a revolutionary technique utilizing one's own resistance for increased, lasting flexibility & mobility. She is also certified in cupping. This great for athletes and your average Joe who want to move and feel agile like an athlete.

Jenessa competed in the national competition “Ms. Health and Fitness” and holds state, national, and world records in powerlifting, and is a World Champion Power lifter. As a devoted advocate of lifelong learning, this motivates her to keep up to date on new strategies and current education to provide optimal service to her clients. She specializations in enhancing athletic performance, physique and bodybuilding, strength training, biomechanics and human movement, fat loss, and injury prevention. A unique advantage Jenessa possesses is her capability to not only assist her clients in their physical goals, but their mental aspects of health and well-being. As her clients have applied the mental techniques they have experienced, the breaking of personal records, elevating their peak performance, alleviation from aches and pains, reduction of sugar cravings, minimizing body fat, creation of financial abundance, and overall increase of positivity and happiness in their life.  Health starts from the inside out. Jenessa has found that her clients experience sustainable success faster when they utilize and incorporate mental techniques with the physical.  Her aspiration as a trainer is to help her clients not only become physically strong, but also mentally and emotionally strong. Jenessa strives to help others gain confidence in and out of the gym, reach personal goals, and ultimately grow in every aspect of their life. Jenessa does this by providing motivating support to her clients throughout their journey. She looks forward to serving you!
