I served a two-year LDS mission in Italy where we walked everywhere and took public transportation. While serving, my back, hips, knees, and ankles got wrecked. When I got home, I went to the doctor's office, and they asked me what was wrong. I explained and they suspected I had arthritis (at 20 years young) so they prescribed me steroids which didn't help at all. Then I went to the physical therapist, and they basically just said that they had no idea what was wrong or how to help me. I basically just felt hopeless for those 2 years after my mission. I felt like I just had to accept the constant pain and difficulty I had when performing basic movements. Then, as I was recovering from breaking my leg, I met Jenessa. The first thing we did was an evaluation. Already that was lots more than any doctor did for me. From that evaluation, she was able to understand exactly what was going wrong and how to help fix it. Jenessa is someone I have worked with for quite a few times over the years. I recently started working with her again. This time was different.
